Cashless payment to improve the experience of participants

The Paris Beer Festival is an unmissable event for beer lovers. Each year, more than 60 craft breweries come to present their creations around conferences, events, concerts and a total immersion in the world of craft beer. A strong commitment to support young breweries in the face of current economic challenges is highlighted during the event.

In order to simplify transactions within the festival, the organizer called on Wilout to set up a cashless payment solution.

Simplifying the participant experience

In order toimprove the experience of the participants, the organizer of Paris Beer Festival was looking for a solution to replace the old system used for transactions within the festival. Previously, visitors had to buy plastic chips, which they exchanged at breweries in order to be able to taste the various beers.

The organizer therefore chose to adopt the cashless payment for its event, a solution that was able to simplify the consumption experience of participants and was able to give visibility to the organizer on the revenues of his event.

  • Improving transactions : cashless makes it possible to make instant payments, avoid cash flow errors, and considerably reduces queues at points of sale.
  • A digital wallet : NFC supports act as digital wallets, which limits the circulation of cash at the event.
  • Cost reduction Banks : With cashless, reduced bank fees for exhibitors: unlike TPE payments, exhibitors benefit from transactions without bank fees.
  • Offline operation : Cashless does not require an internet connection. It is capable of operating offline, and ensures smooth transactions, even in areas where network coverage is poor or non-existent.
  • More hygienic : The handling of cash or chips involves an important exchange of bacteria. The cashless medium, for its part, remains in the hands of its owner, making it possible to reduce these transmissions.

Improve operational management

Festivals bringing together a large number of exhibitors, such as the Paris Beer Festival, may encounter difficulties in obtaining readability on all their stands. Our cashless payment solution offers a dashboard, which reports in real time the sales generated by the various breweries.

This data allows the organizer to:

  • Get to know your participants better (peak attendance, consumption preferences, etc.)
  • Track the turnover of the various points of sale
  • Exporting your data of sale, by point of sale
  • Manage your stocks as best as possible from one year to the next

Choosing the NFC card

We offer two formats of cashless supports to our customers: bracelets and NFC cards. While these two options serve the same basic function, they have distinct characteristics that make them particularly suitable for different types of events. The organizer chose the map, which was more suited to his event.

  • Familiar format: Easy to learn, they are intuitive for users, which simplifies the adoption of cashless.
  • Visual customization: Their flat surface is ideal for displaying logos or other striking visuals.
  • Favorable cost: Less expensive than bracelets, they are particularly suitable for one-off events

Perfect for indoor events, these cards seduce by their simplicity and practicality.
